Shak-bafi (شک بافی ) is a handicraft that consists of making wool, golden, and silver decorative bands, 5 to 30 mm wide. The art defines Qeshm women with one of their outstanding skills. The bands are used to decorate edges of women’s clothes.
These handmade bags are made out of restored vintage textiles and persian Killims.
Every textile has its own one of a kind pattern and made out of 100% cotton, silk or wool, depending on the piece.
